We hope everyone enjoyed the holiday and had an easy fast! The children have been very busy in the Hebrew/Judaics class getting ready for Sukkot. They made lots of cool decorations for our Sukkah, that is located on the Preschool playground. If you get a chance, come visit our Sukkah to see all the wonderful projects the students created.
The children had fun with Mr. Joel learning Sukkot songs, singing and dancing with their pretend Lulav, לולב, and Etrog, אתרוג. The students will have a chance next week to see, smell and touch a real lulav and etrog, they love playing and dancing in our classroom sukkah as well.
Next Wenesday, the children will have a special celebration in the Sukkah. They will make a Rainbow Fruit Salad; they can’t wait to celebrate!
Have a Happy & Healthy Sukkot!
- The children are also working on their Jonah & the Whale projects, which will go home next week!
